Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

Short version: We don't sell your data. Analytics are anonymised. Email is only collected if you opt in. Affiliate clicks are tracked by third-party networks (Writesonic via PartnerStack, Grammarly via Impact, Surfer SEO via their platform) — their privacy policies apply to those interactions. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time.

Who we are

WriterStack operates writersstack.com — an AI writing tool review and comparison site. Contact: hello@writersstack.com

What data we collect

Analytics (automatic)

Google Analytics 4 (ID: G-25PTR3QE59) collects anonymised usage data — pages visited, session duration, device type, approximate geographic location (country/region level). IP addresses are anonymised. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

Email (optional)

If you submit your email address to receive our prompt library or newsletter, we collect your email address. We use this solely to send the content you requested and occasional updates about new reviews. We do not sell email addresses or share them with third parties beyond our email service provider.

Affiliate tracking (third-party)

When you click an affiliate link, the destination site's affiliate network (PartnerStack, Impact, or the tool's own system) may set cookies to track whether a purchase was made. We receive commission data but not your personal information. Refer to each tool's privacy policy for details on their tracking practices.

Cookies

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or social media tracking cookies beyond what Google Analytics sets.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To unsubscribe from emails, use the unsubscribe link in any email. For data access or deletion requests: hello@writersstack.com — we respond within 5 business days.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our data practices change. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
